It is the story that makes people beautiful.
An actor or actress can be beautiful and handsome, but it is the character they dis_play, that’s cherished among viewers and admirers.
An actor or actress has a job, a script, make-up teams and coaches and fans, but it is the writer of the character, that makes these actors and actresses more easy to fall for.
Interviews with acting professionals are often about how the whole crew has become a family and how important it is to represent minorities on screen. It is truly beautiful, because it shows how random people who have nothing but their acting job in common, can grow such a lovely bond at work.
In real life, though, I care more about the characters.
The fictional, human creations that writers give us, viewers, bystanders, insight in humanizing background stories through well-timed flashbacks that we, viewers, bystanders, cannot see when we meet strangers on the street, in a bar or on a digital dating platform.
Context is sexy, power- and beautiful, because it wraps strangers in comfortable backgroundical and intertwining storylines.
Narratives are what turns strangers into relatives as soon as they’re open to new perspectives – and are willing to binge watch the cliffhangers that people around you carry along every day.

A Rose
A Rose Eliza didn't know how a rose ended up on her doorstep. Truth be told, the hairs on the back of her neck stood up. Who left this? She scanned the hallway, hoping this was an accident. Alas, not a single rose petal graced the ground on either end. The rose, a rich ruby hue, laid intricately on her heart-shaped doormat. With the rose there was a satin ribbon tying it to an envelope. She gingerly picked up the bundle and flipped it over. Her name resided on the envelope. There was no mistaking it: this was meant for her. "Alright... I guess I'll open it." She sighed as she closed the door, quick to lock it before walking away. The ribbon easily came undone. She played with it between her fingers, her thumb smoothing over the edge. Who would send her a single rose? Her brows furrowed while studying the handwriting. Her name, written elegantly in cursive, was something she left behind a long time ago. You sound in the tree and you sleep in the wind, float above the waters as the last, shining trace. You trust the sun's rays, the raindrops, the blowing of the wind. Lonely and hidden, song of my soul, flows your silver bow. You know the world and everything has it's time. Worship of the vital spark of being. Mountains in the moonlight ring out with your sound. Nocturnal expanses feel yourself striding, wrap themselves trustingly in your singing. The trees of the forest rustle to your melody. My soul - spark born from God, The song of my soul is a praise, came from above, went up, Ultimately just a ray, but imperishable until all eternity in the bright, shining splendor of a star in the sky.
